NewsGuard Sues FTC, Alleging Trump-Era Regulators Target Its Media Credibility Ratings

News-rating firm NewsGuard has filed a lawsuit against the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) and its chairman, Andrew Ferguson. The company accuses regulators from the Trump administration of using an investigation as a means to retaliate against NewsGuard for its evaluations of news outlets, according to a report by The Associated Press.
