This appointment follows the previously announced retirement of longtime CFO Keith Taylor, who has been with Equinix since 1999. During his 27-year tenure, Taylor played a key role in guiding the company from its early days as a venture-backed startup through its initial public offering to its current status as a global industry leader with over $9 billion in annualized revenue. To ensure a smooth leadership transition, Taylor will remain with the company as a special advisor for about one year.
CEO and President Adaire Fox-Martin emphasized Leonetti’s strategic vision and operational discipline as vital assets for the company’s future growth and value creation. This leadership change marks a significant milestone for Equinix’s finance organization as it builds on the strong foundation established during Taylor’s distinguished career.
