AIKEN, S.C. (WRDW/WAGT) - On Saturday, members of the Aiken County community received valuable resources aimed at improving their health.
The Believe in Belvedere Community Fair, hosted by Bel-Ridge Baptist Church, focused on providing mental health resources to those who may not have easy access to such services.
"Bringing mobile resources into the community allows people to make important connections. We have seniors and others who lack transportation to Aiken or Augusta, so this event provides a safe space at the church where they can meet people who can address their needs," said Chris Wyatt, the event organizer.
The fair also featured games, music, demonstrations, health resources, and a cake walk.
